Joyful Threads!

Hello friends! Its been a while since my last update, so I'll share a little bit about what I've been doing. Since being back from DTS, I have gone to Kansas City to be a part of the Circuit Rider School. We saw some amazing things happen in Kansas City! Everyone got filled with more faith, were totally transformed, and received a greater hope for more things God is up to in America! I've also been helping with worship on Sundays at the gathering in Edmond where we are always encouraged by the faithfulness of God! He has used many people in this fellowship to release His Word and build up the body of Christ. Mondays at Deeper have been super fun and exciting! It is always a good time gathering students and equipping them to go into their schools and release the Love of the Lord. Just recently we had a night of "Identity" where each student was prayed for, and given several words of edification from other students to stir up the fire in their hearts. Wednesday nights I have been leading worship and speaking at a youth group in Guthrie. I love seeing young people get excited for Jesus!

My next adventure will be going to Kona to be on staff with Fire & Fragrance DTS. I will be leading worship for the school, as well as in the Prayer Room. There will be many opportunities for discipleship, and pouring into the students lives. I will be leaving for Hawaii on December 30. I am so excited for what the Lord is going to do with this school, and my heart is very expectant to see His will be done. I am so honored that I get to be a part of God's Kingdom coming to earth!

If you would like to partner with me and help me get to Kona, I would greatly appreciate your prayers! If the Lord leads you to give financially, I have a "DONATE" button on this page. I will need to cover plane tickets and housing costs while I am on my way and in Kona. Here is another way to help! I am selling more beanies, headbands, earrings, hair clips,  & hair bows.. and maybe some other creative things coming soon! Here are some pictures of the items I am making and selling. They are great for any kind of gifts!! I have lots more to choose from, so if you want a specific color of anything, just let me know! My email is carleighchamberlain@gmail.com if you have any questions, or are interested in purchasing anything!

Thanks for looking, everyone! :)

now & later

I arrived back home in Oklahoma on June 12th from my 6 month DTS. I have learned so much in this past season of my life, and I'm so thankful for everyone who helped me be able to have all of those amazing and life changing experiences!

Since being back home, I have been a part of the Monday night worship meetings that go on at the Conant's house. During the month of July we're really focusing on inviting people to come and be involved with the community we have here. I have come to realize the importance of being in fellowship with others, and how incredible it is to have people around you who are all going after the heart of God. We want to make this a place where people feel welcome to be a part of our big family! I am so excited and honored that I get to be connected with a group of such amazing people, and see God come and transform hearts! Each Monday we eat together, worship, and wait on the Lord for direction. Each week is different, but He never fails to fill us up with more of His presence.

My next step will be going to Kansas City for the School of the Circuit Riders; I will be helping staff this school. At this two week seminar, we will be teaching on simple evangelism, how to share the gospel with others, learning how to love like Jesus, and doing ministry in the city. It will be a radical time of receiving teaching, and then applying it into every day life!

Its an incredible time to be alive! We get to partner with God's heart and bring the Kingdom to earth!
Love you all!!

Hope in Jesus

These past few weeks in South Africa have been absolutely incredible! As our team has continued to press in for more breakthrough, the Lord has proven Himself faithful time and time again. We have seen God touch the hearts of many people here in Masiphumelele, and our hearts as a team have been radically changed as well! We have been holding weekly bible studies and worship times at our house in the township, and many people who live in the community come to be a part of what God is doing! A group of us were walking in Masi a few days ago and met some teenage girls who had never really heard about the gospel. They invited us to come into their house and we told them about the power, hope, and freedom that only can come from Jesus Christ. They were very happy to meet us, and were excited when we invited them to come to our bible study the next day. After we had finished our bible study, I asked the girls if they wanted to know more about Jesus and if they wanted to have a relationship with Him. Three of the girls said YES! We prayed with them to receive Holy Spirit and asked that the Lord would reveal Himself to them. Since then we have been meeting with these girls, sharing our testimonies, and encouraging them to seek after God! They are already filled with more joy and peace!

Everyday during the week we walk around Masi and ask God to lead us where He wants us to go. Sometimes we go around and meet new people on the streets and tell them about Jesus, and other times we go to new friends' houses and pray or talk with them. These people just need to know that they are loved and that there is HOPE in Jesus. That is one thing that I have found to be so evident here- the people need to realize that there truly is something to live for; there really is a reason for them to wake up everyday. We are here to bring that hope! It is an amazing feeling to know that we are making a difference for the Kingdom. Lives are being ETERNALLY changed! These people have also changed my life. It is so life-giving to do what we are doing. We were made to do this-- to pour out everything that we have in order for others to know the Love of Christ. Thank you so much for praying for my team and me! We really appreciate your prayers, and we know that we couldn't do it without all of you! Blessings from South Africa!!! Love you guys!

SOUTH AFRICA!

Hello from South Africa! My team and I made it safely to Masiphumelele on March 28th. We have been living in the township with our team and two other South Africans who have been going out on the streets with us and teaching people about Jesus. Here's a quick testimony! Grace (team leader) and I were walking in Masi and saw two girls across the street. We asked them their names and if they had ever heard of Jesus. They said they did not know who this was. So Grace quickly explained who Jesus is and how He has changed her life. They both said they want to know this Jesus! So I prayed with them to receive the Holy Spirit and explained the simplicity of prayer and how we can talk to God anytime we want to, and how He can save us in the middle of our situations. Then we invited them to come over to our house and spend time with us anytime to do bible studies and learn more about Jesus! The Gospel is so SIMPLE! In a matter of 3 minutes, two girls' lives were changed forever as they received Jesus into their hearts. Things like this are happening all over this township. People are hungry for HOPE and LOVE. We are here to bring that to them! :) Thank you for all of your prayers for my team and me! We greatly appreciate it! More updates to come! Love you all!

Joy, Peace, & Glory

Hello friends! It has been an absolutely incredible past few weeks here in my DTS. I'll start by saying how awesome God is! He is constantly amazing me with His goodness and faithfulness. During this past month, we have had the privilege to learn and receive from Jonathan David Helser, one who truly carries the heart of the Father. My heart has been changed as I'm further understanding the reality that we are children of God and He is a good, good Father. We also had the opportunity to hear from Brian Brennt, who taught us about living our lives in complete freedom. We were able to get rid of all the things that get in the way of the fulness of God such as shame, condemnation, passivity, pride, and self-focus, and then replace those things with LOVE & HUMILITY.

This month has been so filled with revelation and encounter. As a school, we have been marked with a desire to release the Love of God to the nations. The more time we spend in His presence, the more we receive His heart for the world.

Just this weekend, some of us decided to have worship and prayer at the campus cafe and just wait on God to see what He wanted to do. Each night has exploded with joy, peace, and glory as we cried out for the Lord to move. We've seen 12 salvations (new friends from the community,) many people getting healed, and all of us getting transformed with a new passion and zeal for the presence of God. It is amazing what can happen when we simply put all of our focus on Him and posture our hearts to let Him move.

I am getting more and more excited about SOUTH AFRICA! My team leaves on the 25th of March, and will be living in the township of Masiphumelele. I am so ready to be with these lovely people, and share everything that God has put in me. I know that I will learn so much from these amazing ones, and that the Lord is going to do a massive transformation in my heart as I spend time with them and see what it really means to have JOY in just JESUS.

I have been writing more music, and will be putting up some songs soon! Thank you all for being such incredible friends! I'm so blessed to have a wonderful group of people supporting me in this journey! Email me at cjchamberlain4god@hotmail.com with any questions or if you want to know more! Love you all!

NEW FROM KONA!

Here is an update of what all has been going on in my life the past couple weeks! First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has partnered with me in prayer and financially to support me on this journey! I am SO grateful and humbled to have been blessed by so many amazing friends who are willing to give toward His Kingdom! I truly appreciate your partnership, and I would not be here without you! These past two weeks I have been in Kona, Hawaii starting my Discipleship Training School with YWAM. Although I have only been here for a short while, the Lord has already begun a huge work in me! The hunger and anticipation of the students along side me in my school is incredible. We have seen massive breakthrough in multiple areas of our lives, and we have experienced His presence in life changing ways. During these two weeks, some of the main teachings have been on fully following Jesus and completely surrendering our lives to Him and His leadership. We have had amazing times in the Prayer Room in which we have felt God’s love like never before, and have partnered with God’s heart as we have been interceding for issues around the world.

I now know where I will be going for the second half of my DTS! I will be going to South Africa with my wonderful outreach team, and we will be living in a township called Masiphumelele. In this township we will have the chance to share the gospel everyday, and to disciple those living in the area. There are about 60,000 people living in this area, so there will be lots of opportunity for ministry. There is about a 75% unemployment rate there, and the people of Masi are longing for some kind of hope. These first couple of months my team and I will be preparing our hearts for what God wants to do through us during outreach. We are all SO excited to see the Lord release His Spirit in South Africa! I am still in need of about $3,000 to cover my plane ticket and living expenses while living in Africa for two and a half months. I have been amazed by those of you who have so generously given, and I believe that all of the remaining funds will come in! If you would like to partner with me in this, you can get in contact me by e-mail, facebook, or by mail. Thank you all again so much for your prayers and support! Blessings!

For any questions, or to find out how to give other than here online, email me anytime!
